Getting Started with QuestLog

QuestLog is the web platform for the Casual Heroes community. This guide covers everything you need to know to get set up and get the most out of it.

Create Your Account

Head to questlog.casual-heroes.com/register and sign up with a username, email, and password. You'll get a verification email - click the link to activate your account.

Join Our Fluxer Server

Fluxer is our primary community hub - voice, text, LFG, events, and more. Join at fluxer.gg/zplS0MwI and then link your Fluxer account inside QuestLog under your profile settings. Linking unlocks the full member portal experience.

Link Your Steam Account

Go to your profile settings and connect Steam. This unlocks SteamQuest - browse your entire library, find hidden gems, see what games you share with other members, and track playtime.

Steam is optional but highly recommended. Your library stays private unless you set it to public in Steam.

Set Up Your Profile

Your public profile is your gamer identity on QuestLog. Add an avatar, bio, your favorite games and genres, your platforms, and your playstyle. Other members find groups and follow people based on this.

Direct Messages

End-to-End Encrypted

Message members you mutually follow. Both sides must follow each other before a conversation can start - this keeps spam out by default. Every message is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it leaves your browser. The server never sees the content.

Go to Profile Settings and enable Allow Direct Messages under Privacy.

Open your Messages inbox and click Set Up Keys. You'll get a 12-word recovery phrase - save it somewhere safe.

You can only message members who follow you back. Visit a mutual follow's profile and click Message, or pick someone directly from your inbox. This keeps spam out.

ECDH P-256 + AES-GCM 12-Word Recovery Phrase Server Never Sees Messages

Your recovery phrase lets you restore access to old messages on a new device. Without it, past messages on a new device cannot be decrypted. Keep it safe.
